Noticing [A poem]

She sits on the bus
But nobody notices
She’s alone and unappreciated
She gets no second glances.

But others get checked out:
It’s obvious why
They’re curvy and perky
And that’s all you may cry

Are men superficial?
Well, there are many that are
As long as they look good
Then that girl she’ll go far.

But looks they do fade;
While the mind can be constant;
So perhaps you should think
Before you perve with contentment.

  1. Besides she’s probably stupid. Have you heard her rap? I have. My teen listens to that junk. Terrible grammar! Well, I have half a mind to learn so sense into her! Bwahahaha!
